Expertise

UX/UI Design • Complex problem solving • Prototyping • Usability testing • Design thinking • Experimenting with AI tools • Facilitating workshops • Public speaking • Digital storytelling

Born & raised in Norway, I spent the first 20 years of my life there before living in England for a year, Scotland for three years, & now nearly six years in Germany. Living across cultures has shaped both how I see the world & how I approach design: with curiosity, openness, & a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives. This is why I prioritise accessibility, inclusivity & real-world impact in my work.

My background is in Digital Media & Interaction Design, where I explored a wide range of digital mediums & developed into a generalist designer. During my Master’s in Visual & Experience Design, I deepened my focus on product design & exploratory design practices. I am a curious designer who enjoys finding new ways to approach problems; whether that means experimenting with new tools, working with AI, or adapting to shifting priorities within new teams & stakeholders.

Professionally, I’ve spent nearly four years at a healthcare tech company & one year at a fast-paced unicorn startup in the food industry. These experiences have given me a broad perspective on how design operates in different contexts. I am open to explore new industries, as thoughtful design can create meaningful & delightful experiences in any field.

My goal is simple: to design with purpose & create meaningful impact for people, businesses & the planet.

About me

Beyond Design

I believe that having hobbies that challenge myself & help me grow, help me to show up as a better designer in the world. Two ways in which I do that is through: public speaking & training for triathlons. Public speaking sharpens how I communicate, & triathlon training strengthens my focus, discipline & endurance.

Public speaking

I practice public speaking through an organisation called Center Berlin Toastmasters. You can learn more about my public speaking progress here.

Triathlons

In September 2025, I completed my first 70.3 IRONMAN in Poznán, Poland. I am currently training for my first full IRONMAN which is set for June 2026. The full IRONMAN consists of a 3800m swim, 180km bike & finally 42.2km run, all back to back. The journey has taught me many transferrable skills that I utilise in my daily life & at work, including: planning, discipline, adjusting lifestyle habits & staying consistent. Most importantly, it has taught me that doing hard challenges are possible & I can apply it to any other challenge that shows up.

“ I’ve been working closely with Celina for over a year, and it’s been a consistently positive and rewarding collaboration. She creates an environment where brainstorming feels genuinely collaborative. Our pair design sessions are always productive, and I feel comfortable sharing ideas because she truly listens and values input. What stands out most is Celina’s ability to bring structure and clarity to our projects. She’s incredibility detail-oriented and consistently ensures nothing is left to chance, which makes working together feel both efficient and reassuring. Beyond our work, I’ve been lucky to have Celina as a mentor, particularly when it comes to Figma and design practices. She’s patient, clear in her explanations, and always willing to adapt to what I need, whether that means walking through something step by step or giving me the space to try things myself. Her support has been incredibly helpful in building my confidence and skillset. Celina brings professionalism, empathy, and precision to everything she does, and I’m genuinely grateful to have met her along the way. She is a great colleague and everyone would be very lucky to work with her.”

Celina was a valuable member of our team, actively contributing to all stages of the product development process - from brainstorming and prototyping to user testing. She has a positive attitude and was always a pleasure to work with. Celina built strong relationships with everyone on our product team and was known for being reliable, approachable and helpful. - João Mira, Product Manager at Doctolib

“ When I think about one improvement to our B2B product lately, I have to call out Celina’s amazing work on the establishment of the Filter experiences and her integration into our design system, Oxygen (Doctolib). This was a long-run, complex project, but her eagerness to improve the status quo and genuine collaboration made it surprisingly smooth. She successfully leveraged her deep knowledge of current design guidelines and technical requirements to achieve a new critical piece of the B2B product architecture. The result is precise content and guidelines that have already driven product alignment and consistency across multiple feature teams. More impressively, these filter patterns are a perfect fit for the Global OS experience vision of the B2B product. I’m really thrilled to recommend her attitude and professionalism. Always focused to deliver quality but with a positive mindset and smiling even when facing such complex part of our design system. I look forward to seeing the continued impact of her foundational work. ”
